Tiffany Sornpao Inks Professional Contract With Keflavik IF

Tiffany Sornpao has signed her first professional contract with Keflavik IF for the 2021 season. Keflavik IF plays in the Úrvalsdeild kvenna, which is the top tier of Iceland's women's football leagues.

Tiffany graduated from Kennesaw State University, where she was a key member of the women's soccer program earning many team and individual awards over the years with the program. Tiffany also earned herself a roster spot with the Thailand National Team for the 2019 Women's World Cup in France and Olympic qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

In 2020, Tiffany began training with Breakaway Academy to prepare for her final senior season with Kennesaw State University. As the Covid-19 pandemic began to complicate the NCAA athletic programs, she decided to forgo her senior session with KSU to pursue a professional soccer career. Now, April of 2021, she has officially signed her first professional contract.

Tiffany not only trained with Breakaway Academy, but also coached in the goalkeeping department before she departed for Iceland. "Breakaway Academy supported and created a goalkeeping community I've never experienced before. They gave me the opportunity to put in the dedication and hard work that I've always wanted to by providing consistent goalkeeper training in the offseason and connecting me with other goalkeepers that I never knew lived so close to me" Sornpao expressed.

We wish Tiffany the best of luck in her season with Keflavik IF!
