Clarkston Soccer Players Receive Donations From Breakaway Academy
Breakaway Academy donated new and slightly used soccer gear to soccer players in Clarkston, Georgia. Members of the Breakaway staff gathered together a substantial amount of new and slightly used soccer equipment with the help of several collegiate soccer players and programs, who donated their gear to Breakaway Academy.
Breakaway visited a turfed mini-pitch in Clarkston, Georgia that was renovated by Upper90. Upper90 is a non-profit organization whose mission is to "Empower children to win on the field and in life!" Many soccer players from around the Clarkston area gather at these field daily to play pickup soccer.
Once Breakaway noticed many of these players lacked sufficient equipment to play the game, we set out to gather soccer equipment to donate. Breakaway staff gathered soccer balls, soccer boots, training gear, and various items of clothing which was then donated to the players. We could not have done it ourselves, and we thank the many people and programs that were involved in gathering and donating the soccer gear.
Breakaway Academy continues to collect new and used soccer equipment as there is an ongoing need for these items in several communities around us. If you would like to help us impact these communities, please reach out to us via email at baacademysoccer@gmail.com.
