Breakaway Teq Team Formulates Through Affiliation With USA Teqball

Breakaway Academy has officially formed an affiliation with USA Teqball and the National Teqball Federation to bring you the Breakaway Teq Team. The Breakaway Teq Team will aim to bring participants open Teqball play through activation events, popups, watch parties, "tours", and be present at various Breakaway Academy events. More programming and Teqball specific events will be offered in the future, which you can stay up to date with by following our Instagram (@brkawayteqteam).

"I am very excited for Breakaway Academy to be recognized as an official Teqball club by the National Teqball Federation as we push to make this an Olympic sport by the 2028 games" Diego Casillas, co-owner of Breakaway Academy, stated. Casillas finished by expressing "We were presented with the chance to grow the sport of Teqball globally, and we could not pass up the opportunity to be a part of this amazing project USA Teqball is building." 

Breakaway Teq Team will launch and begin hosting events as early as May 2021. Breakaway Academy will follow the rules, regulations, and guidelines that FITEQ, Fédération Internationale de Teqball, has put forth as they are the governing body of the sport. Learn more about FITEQ on their website.
